The Energy Trust of Oregon (ETO) is a public-purpose organization dedicated to energy efficiency and renewable energy generation. The ETO helps Oregonians move towards energy self-reliance while increasing the comfort of their homes and businesses. In addition, the ETO provides quality market guidance, as well as grant money to finance projects.

The Bonneville Environmental Foundation (BEF) is a non-profit organization, which markets Green Tags to public utilities, businesses, government agencies and individuals. BEF was founded in 1998 to support watershed restoration programs and develop new sources of renewable energy. In 2000, BEF created their Green Tags product, which enables people around the world to support renewable energy. This support allowed BEF to develop their Solar 4R Schools program, which has installed demonstration scale (1-2 kW) systems on almost twenty schools throughout the region. Complimentary to these systems, guidance, lesson plans and an interactive kiosk are integrated within the school's initiatives. CSV is partnering with BEF to expand this program's locations as well as power generation capabilities to commercial scale systems. BEF Renewable Inc is a for-profit established by BEF in order to co-develop third party projects with CSV. They also have other renewable projects to be managed under this for-profit entity.
